A data science workstation is a machine that performs tasks that support scientific data analysis. It can be used to collect, organize, analyze, and store data from various fields, such as biology, chemistry, physics, economics, computer science, and statistics.

In order to perform these kinds of tasks, a workstation must be able to perform basic tasks like reading and storing data from a variety of devices, such as a scanner, scanner reader, and a 3D printer.

This allows a workstation to be used to collect, organize, and analyze data from various fields, such as :

  • biology,
  • chemistry,
  • physics,
  • economics,
  • computer science,
  • and statistics.
