Microsoft Products which are simply Amazing
It has been a long and interesting journey for Microsoft
In the late 90’ Microsoft had an awful press. Bill Gates was denounced as this evil capitalist, monopolist, who wants to destroy its competitors. Since then Facebook and Amazon has taken this place, but in the meantime Microsoft managed to re-invent itself and become a much better company that it ever was. In this text I want to focus on products and some ideas behind it.
Microsoft Office 365
The change started with Satya Nadella who became CEO of Microsoft in 2014. He made the company into what it is right now, 5 years of growing stock values, by betting on cloud and Artificial Intelligence.
The first application of that mindset was of course Office which was put on the cloud. Today with OneDrive and similar OneServices you can do everything on the cloud, even run a Windows instance on it, from your Mac or phone. That is awesome.
Xbox
Xbox was looked down upon by video games purist when it first came out, because Microsoft didn’t have any brand in the games industry. In the 2001 Microsoft was all about Windows and Office (and maybe Internet Explorer).
Then after its release and with each new game coming in (Gears of War!) people started to love Xbox and it is the case to this moment. Xbox became the biggest competitor of Sony Playstation, crashing Sega and Nintendo along the way.
Right now Xbox One has really a great line-up of games, just to mention 3:
Red Dead Redemption II is one of the best games of 2018. Become a cowboy!
Forza Horizon 4 is one of the best driving games on current generation of consoles.
Witcher 3 is one of the best RPGs of all time — a lot of action, exploration and pure joy.
Microsoft Azure
The cloud itself was reimagined with an idea of being simple to use. Microsoft after all went all in when it comes to AI and cloud.

Satya Nadella
